My art teacher at uni is so inspiring. I was listening to her at uni, and I thought "ok, now I understand my sudden enthusiasm for traditional art". It is not just her, it was also Shane. He is not a reader, and he doesn't really 'get' books, so he isn't so supportive of me wanting to be a writer (or maybe I should say enthusiastic?). But he can see my art straight away and he likes it, so he encouraged me to get back into my art.

But now I realise it wasn't just him. It was my art teacher. She is so enthusiastic about art and making a living off painting that it just rubbed off on me....
